Pro Bono Legal Assistance Program
Our pro bono team connects eligible individuals and families with volunteer attorneys who provide free legal assistance in family law, dependency, guardianship, immigration and other legal matters. We screen cases, explain the process and match clients with attorneys who can meet their legal needs. CABA Pro Bono’s legal professionals also recruit, train and support volunteer attorneys by providing technical assistance, case guidance and ongoing support throughout the representation. Our goal is to help clients feel heard, respected and informed while giving attorneys meaningful opportunities to make a lasting difference in the lives of the people they serve.

I love working with the CABA Pro Bono team! Volunteering with CABA Pro Bono Legal Services is an opportunity for me to help those in need and give back to our community. We all have busy lives and time is golden, but a few hours a month won’t break anyone’s back. At the end of the day, when you see the people you help with the challenges and difficulties in their daily lives, but do not give up, it opens your eyes to the realities our current society confronts and has made me proud to be part of this initiative.
