CABA Pro Bono Legal Services Recognized As 2021 Chief Justice's Voluntary Bar Association Pro Bono Award Recipient

CABA Pro Bono Legal Services is honored to be the 2021 Chief Justice’s Voluntary Bar Association Pro Bono Award, recipient. This accolade recognizes a voluntary bar association that has demonstrated a significant contribution in the delivery of legal services on a pro bono basis to individuals or groups that cannot afford the services in the state of Florida.

Each year the Florida Supreme Court and The Florida Bar host The Florida Bar Pro Bono Service Awards. This celebration honors lawyers, groups, and members of the judiciary who have given of their time and expertise to ensure access to justice for those who could otherwise not afford it.

CABA Pro Bono Legal Services’ practice areas include, but are not limited to, the representation of human trafficking and domestic violence victims, veterans, as well as neglected unaccompanied immigrant minors, with CABA Pro Bono’s staff and its volunteers representing over 1,800 cases annually. In 2019, CABA Pro Bono Legal Services provided approximately 20,000 legal hours to its clients.

CABA Pro Bono Legal Services does not just take cases, it changes lives. With its many successes over the years, it is proud to be a leader in the pro bono legal services world.
