Laura E. Kelly graduated from American University with a double major in International Studies and Business administration. After working for 4 years at GAP, Inc. in San Francisco, Ms. Kelly decided to attend Law School. Ms. Kelly graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2006. Upon graduation Ms. Kelly began her career by working as a staff attorney for the Guardian ad Litem Program. In 2007, Ms. Kelly opened her own law firm, Laura E. Kelly, PA focusing on Real Estate and Pro Bono Child Advocacy. Ms. Kelly is deeply committed to public service and has represented many children on behalf of CABA Pro Bono.

In addition to her practice, Ms. Kelly is a devoted wife and mother to her three amazing children. Despite, Ms. Kelly’s busy schedule, her commitment to pro bono is rock solid and she consistently steps up to the plate and represents vulnerable children on a volunteer basis. On one occasion, CABA Pro Bono called Ms. Kelly to once again ask if she would volunteer her time to represent a child in need of pro bono services. Before CABA Pro Bono could finish providing her with the case synopsis, Ms. Kelly responded, “first of all, you know I am going to say yes…it is my duty to help.” CABA Pro Bono would like to sincerely thank Ms. Kelly for her remarkable pro bono commitment. She is undeniably helping make Miami Dade county better “One resident at a time.”
