The Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) hosted its Second Annual Night with the Marlins on May 13, 2017 helping raise $20,000 for CABA Pro Bono Legal Services. Attendees enjoyed an evening of family fun where guests got a chance to see the Miami Marlins reign victorious over the Atlanta Braves, while being in the company of fellow CABA staff, clients and supporters.
Ticket purchase provided attendees with Legends Level seating, a chance to take part in CABA’s pre-game ceremony, Family Zone activities, a food or beer voucher and goodie bag, along with an opportunity to meet cast members of the popular 70s TV series, “¿Qué Pasa, USA?” Where for the first time in, Ana Margo, “Carmencita,” Steven Bauer, “Joe,” Connie Ramirez, “Violeta,” and Barbara Ann Martin, “Sharon,” reunited to take part in a meet and greet/autograph session with fans before the game, as well as throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
The money raised by the event will assist CABA Pro Bono Legal Services’ mission to change the lives of children, individuals and families in need through legal advocacy by providing free legal services to those who cannot otherwise afford it— regardless of race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation or national origin.
